Warner Bros. Interactive and DC Entertainment had harvested much harsh criticism from players for their announcement of expensive Season Pass of Batman: Arkham Knight. Now there are more details about the included DLCs and to the content that had not fitted according to the developers in the history of Arkham Knight.
The developers of Batman: Arkham Knight have responded to the persistent criticism that triggered the announcement of a Season Pass for 40 dollars and 90 dollars for a Premium Edition (PC) or 110 dollars (consoles). In the official forum of Batman: Arkham Knight here the contents of the Season Pass and the corresponding DLC have now been explained in detail. There will be more stories, missions, challenges, adventures and characters that would not fit in the storyline of the main game.
“We’ve heard from our community that you want more information on what we’ll be delivering in the Season Pass. While we aren’t ready to unveil every aspect of the content we’ll be developing, we would like to share more detail now to give you a better sense of the scope of the Season Pass” they said. With “Batgirl: A Matter of Family”, the game gets a prequel extension for the story, in which Batgirl can be played for the first time also. “The Season of Infamy” contains new Batman missions and stories that deal with an invasion of Gotham by supervillains. In “Gotham City Stories”, the player takes role of the ally of Batman extending their stories both before and after the main story of Batman: Arkham Knight.
In addition, the Season Pass will receive the “iconic” Batmobile from Batman which can be run on specially adapted racetracks to each era. Additional Challenge Maps for Batman and its allies, as well as skins for Batman, Robin, Nightwing and Catwomen complete the DLCs. More details are to follow. The first reactions on the web, mainly due to the announcement of Batgirl, are now much friendlier than the last.
