The publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have released the details of the story and the first trailer for the DLC of Batgirl in the Batman: Arkham Knight universe.
Titled as Batgirl: A Matter of Family, the DLC is passed before the events of Arkham Asylum, and will be the first time in history that gamers can play with Batgril. It is worth noting, however, that the new chapter is done by the creator of Arkham Origins, WB Games Montreal, and not by the creator of the Arkham series, Rocksteady.
“When the Joker kidnaps Commissioner Gordon and holds him hostage at the Seagate Amusement Park, Batgirl and Robin must fight against the odds to save him and avoid falling victim to The Joker’s sinister plan” says the blurb. “Trained by Batman, Batgirl’s combat combines with unparalleled hacking abilities to take down enemies, control objects and solve puzzles.”
Batgirl: A Matter of Family was announced only for the PS4 and Xbox One and arrives to the two platforms on July 14. Thos who carry the Season Pass have already received this content, but if this is not your case, you can purchase it separately for $7.
Nothing was released for PC gamers since Batman: Arkham Knight PC version still has technical problems.
