The developer Stoic has announced that the release date of The Banner Saga 3 was delayed to the summer of 2018, publishing on the occasion a new trailer dedicated to the character of Fasolt: you can find the trailer at the bottom of the news.
The game was originally scheduled for December 2018, but apparently, the developers managed to anticipate the roadmap for a few months, setting the debut of The Banner Saga 3 on PC this summer. To celebrate the announcement, Stoic has published the first of a series of trailers dedicated to the various characters in the game: in today’s video, we find the protagonist Fasolt, a warrior that you can see in action on the battlefield.
The Banner Saga 3 is a testament to summer 2018 on PC, but with good probability, it could arrive in the future also on consoles as happened with the previous chapters of the series.
The Banner Saga 3 is the last chapter of Stoic’s highly acclaimed RPG/strategic Viking saga. In the game, the choices made by the player during travel, conversations and in battle determine the result of the character’s story as well as the survival of an entire civilization.
As in the previous chapters, we are expecting 2D animations and a first-rate artistic sector, a unique tactical combat system and a cast of unforgettable characters.
Recall that at the moment the game is scheduled for PC/OSX, but it is likely to come on PS4 and Xbox One in the future.
