Bandai Namco will announce New IP in August
As Microsoft revealed that it is not going to the conference at Gamescom 2016 and Sony remains still unconfirmed, many left their illusions of seeing something new at the event. What they did not count is that Bandai Namco, distributor responsible for Dark Souls, Dragon Ball and Tekken, will reveal a new IP in the event that will take place in Cologne, Germany.
At Gamescom 2016, Bandai Namco is going to be present. The Japanese publisher will bring Tekken 7 and Dragon Ball XenoVerse 2. As announced through a press release, the German trade fair will be the perfect opportunity to unveil their new IP, designed for the Western market.
According to the information shared by Bandai Namco, this new intellectual property is in development with the Western audience in mind. While the distributor was excited with the game, they decided not to share more details.
On the other hand, Bandai Namco confirmed that all those attending Gamescom 2016 will enjoy Dragon Ball XenoVerse 2 and Tekken 7. With this, Harve Hoerdt, Vice Ppresident of marketing and public relations at Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe says they will take “3 projects very interesting” to the popular video game event.
