Bandai Namco has announced God Eater 3, the next episode of the series. Originally presented at the Tokyo Game Show 2016, the title had not yet been talked about so far and had not been given yet a definitive name.

In March we met with the first teaser of the new project of God Eater. Later, Bandai Namco confirmed that this title would be presented soon, in a special concert at the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall, in Yokohama, Japan.

The franchise celebrates its 7th anniversary and what better way to celebrate it than with the third installment of the series.

In the framework of this special event, the company revealed God Eater 3. Before the success of God Eater 2: Rage Burst, Bandai Namco did not hesitate to develop this new title, which still has no launching window. The company also did not specify to which platforms God Eater 3 will arrive.

This installment will take us several years after God Eater 2: Rage Burst. The Aragami continue to cause a great number of problems, so the God Eaters will rise once again with all the power of their God Arc-weapons. Thus, the game will retain the mechanics of previous titles, but with significant balance improvements.

God Eater 3 will have a worldwide release in America, Europe, Japan and the rest of Asia. We will have to wait for more details on its release date and the consoles where it will be available.

Here is the first trailer of God Eater 3:
