Bandai Namco is working on a new God Eater Console Project
A few weeks ago the company launched God Eater 2: Rage Burst in the West, and now Bandai Namco has confirmed that is already working on a new game for console.
Apart from the newly announced God Eater Online for smartphones, Bandai Namco is also working on a new episode for console for this increasingly popular series of action games, although the Japanese did not say anything more about the matter.
In an interview with Famitsu the producers Yusuke Tomizawa and Kensho Monden, the director Hiroshi Yoshimura and the director of Asobimo Hiroo Hasegawa, all talked about the series and announced the last game, God Eater Online, an MMO for mobile.
After taking the opportunity to offer the first details of God Eater Online, confirming that it will be a game free-to-play with the essence of the MMO to thereby increase the chances of finding other people during our gaming sessions, they also confirmed about a new game for console.
As reported by Siliconera website, the recent announcement for smartphone does not mean that these hunting games will stay away from the domestic market, and they are working for one console version that could give some clue on 17 September, during the Tokyo Game Show.
God Eater was born from Monster Hunter from Capcom, and its first titles came to portable PSP and PS Vita, but God Eater 2: Rage Burst and God Eater Resurrection are also available on PlayStation 4 and PC.
