Today, Bandai Namco has revealed a new intellectual property, we refer to Little Nightmares, a game that seeks to reflect the fears that we had in our childhood.

Little Nightmares

So, you control a girl who wears a yellow raincoat, while trapped in an underwater ship inhabited by corrupt souls who “are looking for their next meal.”

The game is developed by Tarsier Studios, independent studio of Switzerland that contributed to the development of Media Molecule titles like LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway Unfolded.

“Little Nightmares symbolises the evolution of our strategy to further strengthen the company portfolio with titles developed from all over the world,” said vice president of Bandai Namco Europe, Herve Hoerdt. “As we continue to explore new ways to experience our IPs, we couldn’t have found a better partner than Tarsier Studios to fulfill this vision and we’re extremely proud to show their incredible talent to the world by publishing their first in-house project.”

“We are so thrilled to work together with Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe, a company that takes great pride in their work and goes that extra mile to create amazing game experiences,” said Tarsier Studios deputy CEO Andreas Johnsson. “From day one we’ve felt their passion and drive to help make Little Nightmares everything it can be.”

For now, Bandai Namco did not disclose further details, but promised that more information will come in Gamescom 2016 event to be held in Germany next week.
