The British Academy Video Game Awards (BAFTA) announced the nominees for the annual video game awards, where Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice achieved 9 nominations, including the best game.
In the list, we find Horizon: Zero Dawn with 8 nominations, What Remains of Edith Finch got 7, while The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Gorogoa got 5.
Also, BAFTA will present the Game beyond entertainment prize, which seeks to recognize games that “deliver a transformational experience beyond pure entertainment.” In this category, we find Bury Me, My Love, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Last Day of June, Life Is Strange: Before the Storm, Night in the Woods and Sea Hero Quest VR, titles nominated for addressing a variety of social problems.
