Axiom Verge will get a physical release on PS4, PS Vita and Wii U


Today, the distributor BadLand Games announced that it has reached an agreement with Thomas Happ Games to make its Axiom Verge game to have a physical launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Wii U.

Axiom Verge, released on September 1, 2016 on the eShop of the Wii U ,  will be entitled to its physical version thanks to Badland Indie.

Axiom Verge is a metroidvania type game that saw the light in 2015 and took the best elements of the genre to merge them with a new experience.

BadLand Games confirmed that Axiom Verge will have a standard edition only for PlayStation 4 and a collection edition called Multiverse Edition that will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Wii U. The standard edition will be priced at $20 USD, while the Multiverse Edition will cost $29.99 USD.

Axiom Verge’s Multiverse Edition will feature a luxury book with commentary and art by Thomas Happ, developer of the game, a poster and a DVD with a game development documentary.

Dan Adelman, head of public relations at Axiom Verge, said that a likely version of the game on Nintendo Switch is in the hands of Nintendo of America, as these are not stranger to the requests from fans regarding the publication of the game on the new console of Nintendo.
