The Avengers Game of Marvel Will Feature A Completely New and Original Story

We know that Marvel fans are dying to get new details about The Avengers game that Square Enix is preparing. Recently, the official website of Marvel gave a small preview of the mysterious project.
In a post on the Marvel blog, the company talked about the new members who will work on Crystal Dynamics to shape the expected game of The Avengers. As the fans will know, this information was revealed at the end of January.
“This time, the heroes are assembling again behind-the-scenes with award-winning developer Crystal Dynamics adding 15 top industry talent to The Avengers project in January alone,” the company wrote. “The talent includes Shaun Escayg, former Naughty Dog creative director, and Stephen Barry, a 27 year games vet from EA and Visceral Games.”
However, the most important details came later, when Marvel gave a short description of what the players can expect.
“The Avengers project, featuring a completely new and original story, will introduce a universe gamers can play in for years to come,” Marvel said. “The project will be jammed pack with characters, environments, and iconic moments that will thrill Marvelites.”
This confirms that the game of The Avengers will present a new narrative arc. In February of last year, the creative director of Marvel Games, Bill Rosemann, said that the titles of the company would bet by new stories, although they would take the bases constructed by the comics.
On the other hand, the idea of “play in for years to come” could also confirm that Crystal Dynamics is developing a multiplayer title. In September of 2017, a report suggested that the studio worked in a game of adventures and action in the third person with characteristics in line. It is too early to confirm this point, but it seems that it will be. At the moment we just have to wait to get new details.
The Avengers Project was revealed in January 2017. Marvel and Square Enix promised to provide new information this year, so it’s only a matter of time to know what these companies are working for.
