Some time ago there were rumors that Assassin’s Creed Rogue was on its way to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. If you were excited to hear that information, you will be happy to know that Ubisoft confirmed that it is real.
Through a statement on its website, Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed Rogue will arrive on March 20 to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This re-launch will be called Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered and will present textures and shades of higher resolution, new visual effects, and better environmental rendering. In addition, everyone who plays it on Xbox One X or PlayStation 4 Pro can enjoy it at the 4K resolution.
Keep in mind that Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered will not only be a relaunch with visual improvements since it will also include all post-release content that came to the PS3 and Xbox 360 version. It will also include a new outfit based on Bayek, the protagonist of Assassin’s Creed: Origins.
The bad news is that, for now, Ubisoft has not confirmed what the price of this release would be. However, we would not be surprised if it is offered in exchange for $30 USD like other similar products.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue debuted in November 2014 as a farewell letter from the series to past generation platforms. In this title, we control Shay Patrick Cormac, a Templar who wants to end the brotherhood of the assassins.
