Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD Playable On Xbox One Thanks To Backward Compatibility
Microsoft is still working to get its catalog of games for Xbox 360 dusted and give you an opportunity to play it on Xbox One. Thanks to this, from today you can play 2 titles of Ubisoft for last generation platforms in the new line of Microsoft consoles. One of them is Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD.
Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, director of Xbox LIVE programming, revealed on Twitter that new titles were added to the backward compatibility program. As we mentioned in the previous paragraph, one of them is Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD, while the other one is Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter.
We remind you that the backward compatibility program works with physical and digital copies of the games that are part of it. So, if you have Advanced Warfighter on the disk you simply have to put it on your Xbox One to download it and use it to verify the license every time you want to play. On the other hand, if you have Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD in digital format you just have to download it from your library.
If you’ve never heard about these titles, we’ll tell you that Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD is a HD re-release of Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation, a title that was originally released on PlayStation Vita. For its part, Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter is a first person shooter that debuted in 2006 and which presents scenes in Mexico City.
