The PC version of Dishonored 2 has been plagued by technical problems at launch, that was subsequently resolved with a series of updates. Speaking to the microphones of GameSpot USA, Raphael Colantonio of Arkane Studios has confirmed that with Prey things will be different.

In three days one of the most anticipated games of the year will come, called as Prey. It has been developed by Arkane Studios, the same makers of Dishonored and Dishonored 2. As you may recall, the last game came quite broken on PC, but there is nothing to worry about: Prey for PC will arrive safe and sound.

Director Raphael Colatonio has chatted with Gamespot to reassure the players about it. According to him, Arkane Austin has “doubled its efforts” by working on Prey. It should be noted that Dishonored 2 was created by another studio, Arkane Lyon.

These are the words of Colantonio https://www.gamespot.com/articles/we-doubled-our-thoroughness-prey-dev-says-after-di/1100-6449714/ about it: “This time we are, given what happened with Dishonored 2, we doubled our thoroughness in making sure that the game is going to run smoothly. At this point the game is fully ready, but that’s what we’ve been doing for the past months–a lot of tests on different configurations and making sure it works. So we’re pretty confident. You never know. But we’re pretty confident.”

Prey will be available from May 5 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, a playable demo is now available on consoles.
