A numerous technical differences is highlighted between the PC and Xbox One versions of ARK: Survival Evolved, as part of a comparative video rather blatant and to the detriment of Microsoft’s console.
Available in early access for several months on PC, ARK: Survival Evolved seems to be rather ambitious in its gameplay, but also with its rich universe. The title of Studio Wildcard requires a rather swift configuration to enjoy it optimally.
However, this has not prevented the development team releasing the preview version title on Xbox One last few days. Does this version stand in comparison facing the PC version? The YouTube channel of Candyland offers us to get to the bottom, via a comparison video.
The latter, available below, seems to be impacting enough: the Xbox One game turns to a lesser definition and features of PC graphic details are erased. This is particularly the case of textures scaled down and simply removed models. The beaches will never be as empty as the current Xbox One of the game.
However, it is important to clarify that the test conditions were carried out on PC on a machine with an Intel Core i7 6700K processor clocked at 4GHz, 8GB of RAM DDR4 and two NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 graphics cards with 4GB VRAM. The details of the game have been pushed to their maximum for the occasion.
