It’s been just nine months since the release of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, a game that accompanied the launch of Nintendo Switch, but apparently Nintendo has already started thinking about the future.

According to Source Gaming, a site that translates information about video games from foreign languages, Eiji Aonuma has recently confirmed the start of work on the next episode of The Legend of Zelda series. No other details have been leaked about the game.

It is not clear how much the title is actually being worked on but in all likelihood, the concept phase has begun during the last months of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. You can also check out an early draft of a Gunslinger and bow in the Tweet posted below at the end of this article.

Difficult to expect revelations in a short time, the timing does not seem ripe for the presentation of a new Zelda, in any case, the confirmation of the fact that the works are underway is undoubtedly a positive news.

Recall that Breath of the Wild has been awarded at the Game Awards 2017 as the best game of the year, furthermore the Nintendo title, to date, is the most awarded video game of the year 2017.
