Now we finally know that Alien: Blackout is a reality and is in development for iOS and Android devices. The game is in charge of FoxNext Games, D3 Go! and Rival Games, companies that are working on a new adventure starring Amanda Ripley.
The title will put players aboard a space station of Weyland-Yutani Corporation. Your mission will be to survive the Xenomorph and guide a team to a safe place. Exploring the location will not be an easy task, since the survival factor will be very important throughout the levels.
Alien: Blackout still has no confirmed release date, but we know that it can be downloaded from the App Store, Google Play and Amazon Appstore.
Players can use several tools in their favor to avoid encountering the fearsome space creature. Several limited sources of energy can be used to operate a holographic map, motion trackers and surveillance cameras.
“Survive seven fear-inducing levels by remotely guiding Amanda Ripley’s crew through increasingly challenging tasks using only the station’s emergency systems. The uncertainty and unpredictability of both the alien and her crew can impose total defeat for Amanda and the entire station. Alien: Blackout is a unique fear-inducing horror premium mobile game experience that will test the inner nerves of both Alien and horror fans alike, where life can end in an instant,” says part of the description of the game.
As for its developers, D3 GO! has worked on titles such as Marvel Puzzle Quest, while Rival Games is known for Thief of Thieves. Alien: Blackout will arrive on a date yet to be announced to iOS and Android devices.
