Roy Taylor, vice president of AMD, was recently interviewed by MCV UK and on this occasion he spoke among other things about Fallout 4 VR, one of the projects being developed in studios of Bethesda Softworks.

While we are waiting for any news on the game at E3 217, AMD has no doubt the VR version for Fallout 4 that will mark a new direction for gaming in virtual reality.

According to the words of Taylor, Fallout 4 VR will be “the Mario, the Sonic the Hedgehog” of the VR industry. “It will change the way we think about VR,” he said. “It will be an industry changer.”

“They’re an inhibitor to what should be giving great freedom of movement,” Taylor further said. “One of the most important things we do next is get rid of those pesky wires. I’m very pleased to tell you that AMD has come up with a solution.”

His words sound very promising, so we look in June to find out more details about this debut on the virtual reality for the post-nuclearized world of Bethesda.

Fallout 4 VR will be presented at E3 2017 in Los Angeles in playable format, so now we just have to wait two months to learn more about the VR version of Fallout 4.
