If anything the developers agree is that Xbox One X will have great potential, Paul Norris of Madfellow Games has repeatedly talked about the new Microsoft console and highlighted the positive aspect of the lack of exclusive titles for Xbox One X. Also, the developer has addressed the issue of Xbox support to the independent scene.
Once again, Norris talked about the console in an interview with GamingBolt. On this occasion, Norris gave his opinion about the potential of the system compared to a PC. For starters, the developer in charge of Aaero clarified that there will always be cutting-edge computers more powerful than consoles, but believes that Xbox One X is a good option for players against PC.
“If you want the best performance you need to go for a PC. If you want value for money and to just bang a game in and get playing, consoles are the way forward. That’s my thing. I need to relax on the sofa and play in my spare time. I sit at this desk way too much already!” Norris said referring to the advantages of each system.
As for his game, the creative said he is excited to see Aaero in 4K on Xbox One X. Regarding the development of games for the console, he commented: “I think it’s safe to say that, because we’re developing for a specific system, developers get good results from consoles compared to PCs of roughly the same spec,” Norris concluded.
Xbox One X will debut on November 7 and will cost $499 USD. Currently, there are about 100 titles confirmed that will harness the full potential of the console.
One of them will be Halo Wars 2, which in some areas looks better on Xbox One X than its PC version. On the other hand, the director of Assassin’s Creed: Origins stated that the new Microsoft console will have the most spectacular version of the game.
