Xbox Scorpio: Major Nelson starts the countdown for E3 2017

Major Nelson has already begun the countdown to E3 2017: through his Twitter profile, Larry Hryb reminds us that “only” 159 days are missing at the beginning of the show in Los Angeles. What Microsoft has in reserve could be of interesting surprises?

According to the tweet from Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hryb, Director of Programming for Microsoft’s Xbox Live, it would not be entirely accidental. The developer has started a countdown to the date that separates us from the beginning of the show in Los Angeles, the E3 2017.

Here is the tweet by Major Nelson:

Microsoft, unlike many other manufacturers, still appears to be closely linked to the event in Los Angeles, and might not be willing to give life to their own event to show the world the new console.

In accordance to the Twitter post, Microsoft may have decided to reveal release date, price and line-up of Scorpio just at E3 2017, rather than during a special event dedicated to the presentation of the new console.

Certainly, the next edition of the fair will be very important for the Redmond, which will reveal for the occasion all the new features coming to Xbox One, Scorpio and Windows 10 later this year and in the near future.

These days a leak would have revealed that Xbox Scorpio could use the architecture of AMD Vega/Ryzen, but we will have to wait until E3 for official confirmation.
