Xbox One’s game gifting feature is now available for Xbox Insiders

The feature of gifting a game on Xbox One is now available, at least for some members of the Xbox Insider program. This feature allows you to give any digital title to a friend using Xbox LIVE.

Microsoft promised that it would add new features to the Xbox One store as a wish list and digital gifts. It was at PAX West when Mike Ybarra commented that these new features would eventually reach all users.

Fortunately, we can see that Microsoft is already working on the early stages of the gift function. Although there are no specific details on the part of the company, many members of the Xbox Insider program have indicated that the option is now available and fully functional.

Members of the Xbox Insider program will find this option in the Microsoft Store. They only need to select a game and the “buy as gift” option will appear. Once the steps are followed, the system will send the game via email or to the selected Xbox LIVE Gamertag.

Once the recipient receives the notification in their email or in their Xbox messages, you will find a 25-digit code that you can use to download the game to any Microsoft account.

Keep in mind that this is a trial version, so it can change once it is available to the public. We will wait for more details from Microsoft.
