Vanquish PC Patch 1.04 download available now

Platinum Games has released the 1.04 patch for the PC version of Vanquish: This update does not include new content but merely fixes some bugs and minor issues with the aim of improving the performance of the game on the Windows platform.

SEGA and Platinum Games have released today the new 1.04 patch dedicated to the PC version of Vanquish.

The update also adds two command-line options, designed for those who have problems in regulating the brightness of the game and for those who have encountered problems of slowdown during some cutscenes.

Vanquish was released last May on PC with support for the 4K resolution.

Vanquish PC Patch 1.04 Notes:

1. Adjustment to reduce flickering lighting effects in certain circumstances.
2. Adjustment to correct invincibility frames when dodging at higher frame rates.
3. Two new command line options (enter in ‘Set Launch Options…’ in the Steam properties for the game):
– fulltone
Players should try this if they’re having issues with the brightness rapidly changing (may very slightly impact performance).

– fastvisor
For players experiencing slowdown in the visor cutscenes, may improve frame rate in these sections.
