Super Nintendo World trademark registered by Nintendo

Nintendo reported on May 24 last year the brand of Super Nintendo World in the US: The patent that covers various categories, including those relating to amusement parks, hotels, arcade game rooms and even to organizing races of go-kart.

Although reports indicate that work at the amusement park of Universal Studios Japan have already begun, there is very little information at the moment about the North American version.

As we see in the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), on May 24 Super Nintendo World has been registered, while on May 27 it was accepted. This registration not only applies to the amusement park, but also to all the derived products that will be commercialized in the future by reason of its opening.

In addition to referring to the name of the amusement park, the trademark applies to goods and services such as clothing (sweatshirts, costumes, t-shirts, etc.), video game consoles, toys, card games, key chains, arcade video games, and Non-downloadable multimedia content.

Super Nintendo World could therefore be the name of one of the amusement park attractions that the home of Kyoto is implementing in partnership with Universal Parks & Resorts, intended to open at Universal Studios Japan, Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.

The first license plate of Nintendo thematic area should open in Japan in 2020 and then it will arrive in the West in the following years.
