According to a Tweet published in the past few hours, Star Wars Battlefront II will support the resolution of 4K (VRR – Variable Refresh Rate) and HDR on Xbox One X.
As you might probably know, a short time ago it was revealed that Star Wars Battlefront 2 will not support VR, but it seems to be optimized in its version for the new Xbox One X.
Although the news has not been confirmed by developers and publishers, these features are clearly cited in the product card on the Xbox Store.
The image does not seem to leave room for any doubts, however, it may be a simple error when updating the page, so let’s wait for any confirmation in this regard by DICE and Electronic Arts.
In recent news, it was confirmed that the game will not support VR mode. Asked about the presence of a VR mode for Star Wars Battlefront 2, the general manager of Criterion, Matt Webster, responded with a direct “no” answer, pointing out that Criterion remains very interested in virtual reality in the future.
The general manager said that virtual reality will play a role in video games in the next decade, where the developers need to work carefully to exploit all its potential.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 will be available on November 17 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
