In a recent interview published on MCV UK, Antoine Molan (marketing head of Capcom Europe) has said that the house of Osaka is very confident about the review ratings of Resident Evil VII Biohazard.
Missing just over a month for the launch of Resident Evil 7 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, Capcom returns to talk about its expectations for the new chapter of the twenty-year survival horror series.
In particular, Molan made it known that the dream would obviously be to see only 9:10 in review ratings but admits in any case to be aware that many reviews will also come with a score of 8. Capcom does not seem to take into account hypothesis of lower grades, moreover, the publisher has repeatedly said to believe strongly in the quality of the game, so that the company expects to sell 4 million copies of the game at launch.
Votes slightly above sufficiently covered even then, in Capcom’s expectations on the new chapter, changes many things at the level of gameplay, bringing the series to its roots: the fear.
Resident Evil VII Biohazard will be released in Europe on January 24, 2017 on Xbox One, Windows PC and PlayStation 4, in the latter case with full compatibility for PlayStation VR.
