Mojang is working on new content for Minecraft

It is logical to think that Mojang is working on new things for Minecraft, and this time Phil Spencer, the Xbox boss, revealed that he spent a day with the studio looking at everything that will come in the future.

Through Twitter, Spencer said he had a “Great day with the team @ Mojang seeing the future work on Minecraft. Very cool to see the new ideas the team has come to life.”

For now there are no specific details on when we will see these “new ideas”, but we can assure that we will have more information during E3 2017, since it seems logical that Microsoft will announce something related to Minecraft during this important event.

Recall that Microsoft bought Mojang and the Minecraft franchise in September 2014 for $2.5m. From that moment, the game began to have new contents and support for other platforms, like Wii U and soon Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo Switch users will be able to enjoy Minecraft in the next month of May 11, with the ability to transfer their Wii U contents to the new console.

So, we have to wait for the new content that will come to Minecraft. The most recent case was the debut of Power Rangers DLC, which added new skins from the famous Saban franchise.
