Since the announcement of Nintendo Switch for months, one of the third-party games that made the most noise was Minecraft and the version that would come exclusively for the console. Yesterday, although it was not expected by the fans, its arrival was confirmed.

During the presentation event of the Nintendo Switch, a new version of Minecraft was shown that will arrive on that console. No further details of the date of its release were revealed. On the official site of Nintendo, Minecraft is described as follows;

“The critically acclaimed Minecraft comes to the Nintendo Switch system. Create your very own game world to explore, build and conquer. When night falls the monsters appear, so ensure you’ve made yourself a shelter before they arrive. Make it through the night and the world is only limited by your imagination you choose what you want to make or what to do.”

Although in the presentation event of Switch there were no pictures of the game, its trademark could be seen at the end of the event at the time of the display of credits as Minecraft: Story Mode – The Complete Adventure.

This version will include the 5 episodes of the first season and the 3 additional episodes of the Adventure Season Pass.

Minecraft continues to be present on all platforms, with versions for PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4, PS4, PS Vita, Wii U and more.

Microsoft bought the developer of Minecraft, Mojang, in 2014, but the announcement today shows that it does not stop the franchise to appear on multiple platforms.
