Microsoft has presented an Xbox One S with Minecraft to Hideo Kojima

Hideo Kojima has posted on Twitter the photo of the first gift he received for Christmas 2016: Microsoft has given the father of Metal Gear an Xbox One S bundled with Minecraft, a Christmas bundle announced last November and now available in all stores.

Hideo Kojima has posted a new status update on his official Twitter profile that shows a gift has just been delivered to him from Microsoft, an Xbox One S flaming bundled with Minecraft, a Christmas bundle unveiled last month.

A kind gift from the house of Redmond, Kojima thanked Microsoft, Phil Spencer and Major Nelson for this gift. Minecraft is one of the most popular games for console in Japan, hence they came up with the idea to launch the bundle also on the Asian market, with the goal of increasing sales of the console in this territory.

Recall that Hideo Kojima is currently working on Death Stranding, a title for PS4 which will come into full development during the course of 2017, as recently confirmed by the same manufacturer.

This homage by Microsoft is just a kind thought, or a veiled courting for a new project in partnership with the Redmond company? What do you think? Let us know in the comment section below.

No harm in giving a gift and letting an independent developer know you are interested in working with him on a project once he is done with the ongoing project .
