L.A. Noire on Nintendo Switch will cost $10 more than on PS4 and Xbox One

Recently, L.A. Noire announcement was made for HTC Vive, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. According to the official US Store of Rockstar, however, the hybrid console edition will have a higher price than its counterparts on PS4 and Xbox One: on Switch, the game should cost about $50, while on PS4 and Xbox One, always referring to the retail edition, it will cost $40 only.

On the American online store of Rockstar Games, L.A. Noire has made its appearance in retail versions for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, here we found out that the edition for the Nintendo console will cost ten dollars more than that for other current generation consoles.

As for the United States, L.A. Noire will cost $39.99 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One but the same title will cost $49.99 on Nintendo Switch in retail format. It is unclear whether this price difference (probably due to the high cost of the cartridge production compared to optical media) will also be valid for the digital version or not.

According to the official press release, the PS4 and Xbox One versions will run to native 1080p while the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X will run the title in Ultra HD 4K resolution.

L.A. Noire will release on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4 and HTC Vive on November 14th.
