Director of New God of War gives more details about gameplay and game world

After the official presentation of Sony conference at the E3 2017, the director of the new God of War Cory Barlog has released more details about the gameplay and the game world. Released also new screenshots in high definition that you can find at the bottom of the news.

During the Sony conference at E3 2017 in Los Angeles, the new trailer for God of War was finally shown, the video game of Santa Monica Studio, thanks precisely to the new sequences, we learn that the title will come in early 2018 exclusively on PlayStation 4.

With the approach of the launch, Cory Barlog wanted to give a more realistic taste of the game mechanics and the atmosphere of the new God of War, focusing on the journey that Kratos will have to face and the relationship that binds him to his son Atreus. The boat seen in the trailer will be directly controlled by the player, indicating that the exploration will play an important role during the adventure, even if the game will continue to be a story driven experience and not an open world.

The combat system, however, wants to maintain the fluidity and intuitive feeling of the previous chapters, with the variable addition of Atreus: the son of Kratos help his father during the fighting, as well as sharing the journey through this game world “very violent and very large world.”

We remind you that God of War will be released exclusively on PS4 in early 2018.
