Destiny 2 for PC will release later after consoles version

A few weeks ago, Bungie has announced that Destiny 2 will be available from September 8; The small detail is that this date only applies to the version for consoles. What we mean is that Destiny 2 for PC still has no release date.


In a recent talk with PC Gamer, Destiny 2 director, Luke Smith, confirmed this. According to the creative, they want to make sure this version fulfills all its potential and they look for it giving it the necessary development time.

“We’re not committed to a PC date yet, but at Bungie we’re totally committed to making a PC build as great as we can. Our partnership with Blizzard and being on Battle.net, we want to make sure that this version of the game has the time it needs to bake in the oven so it’s a delicious piece of bread when it comes out,” Smith explained.

Smith noted that, for the time being, he can not announce how much longer it will take to get this version; However, he expects its release date to be revealed sometime in the “coming weeks”.

It was recently informed to you that the PC version of Destiny 2 will feature several of the features that platform users are expecting. Among them is support for 4K resolution, as well as unlocked frame rate. Of course, it is important that you know that you can only purchase it through the Blizzard application.

Destiny 2 will be available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
