The expected version of Destiny for PC could be realized soon, as Bungie suggested during a launch event for the new expansion pack, titled Rise of Iron.

Destiny Rise of Iron

Gamereactor EU participated in the launch event of Rise of Iron and on this occasion they got to hear the words of Luis Villegas of Bungie, who has talked about the launch of the Rise of Iron and the possible landing of Destiny on other platforms.

In a chat with Gamereactor, chief engineer Luis Villegas said that, from now on, the studio will focus on supporting this title on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, because there is 90% of the players.

The developer said that, with the release of Rise of Iron, Bungie leaves behind the past generation (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360) and perhaps opens the door to a new platform.

Of course, this does not confirm the rumored arrival of Destiny to PC; however, it is interesting that at this stage the studio has not ruled out that possibility.

Bungie also said it did not completely abandon the versions of PS3 and Xbox 360. In this regard, Villegas promised that the players will still have a good experience for the content that was already paid on those platforms.

Destiny: Rise of Iron is now available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
